I love Superbowl time because that means it's Puppy Bowl time!!! I love to watch all the little puppies play with each other--shut up, you know you like it too!
Week: 8
Feeling: Blah
Mood: Millions better
So the freeloader is now the size of a raspberry (at least some website tells me it is). I'm still getting the lovely nausea, but have realized that if I just continuously eat I can head it off. This isn't going so well with my plan not to gain much weight during this pregnancy, but I don't even care at this point. I still can't eat any meat (except maybe some chicken) and I'm pretty much adverse to anything that isn't grain based.
I have upped my anti-depressant back to pre-pregnancy levels and I feel so much better. I had been advised by my GP to go off of it completely (ignoring my questions about withdrawal symptoms) and I felt the way I would assume Amy Winehouse is feeling right now (for all of you who actually have lives, she's detoxing from heroin right now). I went to another doctor, who actually called my OB's office and spoke with the doc on call, and the on-call guy didn't seem to be concerned about my being on it. I cut the dosage in half, just out of paranoia, and was feeling really crappy. Totally ambivalent about being pregnant, only worrying about what could go wrong, and I decided that it would be better for me to go back to the higher dosage. Since I did I can tell a marked difference and I'm sure the Raspberry can too.
Well, that's all I really have to write about. The potential due date is September 14, for anyone who wanted to know.

Jenna- I love you, but please remember one thing: Your baby might read this one day. Don't call it things like, "The freeloader."
You're lucky! Even though it's not an ideal time, some of have absolutely no certainty of having children without incredibly expensive (medically and legally) processes or court battles against increasingly conservative judges.
PS I can't wait to visit the little bastard ;)
